B. Tech project Presentation Schedule

Dear All,

Please go through the following link for the first project presentation schedule. The presentations are scheduled from 9th to 13th September 2019 in Room 104 (Panel 1) and 105 (Panel 2), Block 3.

This presentation should include the topic, objectives and procedure of the project. AlsTo, the MS Power Point must be discussed with and approved by the guide before you present it to the panel.

You MUST submit the presentation at least one day in advance to Mr Tarun in the department.


Guidelines for Project Evaluation

Grading of the presentation: As per the rubric

For internal/ CA marks, as of now, the following would apply,

  • Number of visits the student has made to the guide (2)
  • Understanding of the title and objectives (2)
  • Number of research papers (s)he has downloaded/ read (2)
  • Understanding of the paper(s) read and its articulation towards the objectives of the project (2)
  • Sharing of the presentation with the guide and discussing the same before presenting (2)

Based upon the above, marks out of 10 shall be awarded.

For further weeks, the CA marks shall be awarded only on the basis of,

  • Number of visits the student has made to the guide (1)
  • Number of research papers (s)he has downloaded/ read (3) – he has to go through at least 5 paper in a week. 0.6 marks for every paper read.
  • Understanding of the paper(s) read and its articulation towards the objectives of the project (5). -- 0.8 marks for every paper read and understood.
  • Sharing of the presentation with the guide and discussing the same before presenting (1)

Total marks shall be rounded off to the next integer, if it is more than 0.5, else to the previous integer.


These guidelines may change with time, as and when we shall feel the change needed.
